01 August 2007 New Name, New Mandate
In July 2007, Netera Alliance officially transitioned to become a new organization with an expanded mandate. We are now called Cybera Inc.
Cybera's new mandate is to provide provincial leadership in integrating, leveraging and sustaining investments in Cyberinfrastructure technologies in Alberta. Cybera maintains offices at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta and is continuing to work with Alberta's post-secondary research community. In addition, our collaborations have expanded to include partners in the business sector to support their work in innovative research and development.
