Virus Disassembly

In this study, the reovirus was introduced into both normal and cancer cells through a direct injection of the virus. In healthy cells, the RAS pathway is not very active and cannot be used by the virus to replicate itself. In cancer cells, however, the highly active RAS pathway promotes viral replication.
